We Fly Aerial Media operates custom-built FPV drone rigs for film, television, streaming series, commercials and live events throughout Los Angeles and Southern California. Our LA-based FPV pilots work in direct collaboration with directors and DPs to craft each shot — from high-speed automotive tracking to immersive flythroughs of sets, venues and locations. We have worked on productions for Netflix, Apple, HBO Max, Nike and Verizon, among others. Our rigs carry the RED Komodo 6K, Freefly Ember high-speed up to 800fps, and sub-250g micro rigs for indoor and crowd applications with Gopros.

All Los Angeles FPV operations are FAA Part 107 certified with waivers for night operations, flight over people (§107.39) and flight over moving vehicles (§107.145) — all commonly required on commercial and TV sets. We hold full FilmLA permitting familiarity for Los Angeles County productions and are experienced with NYPD permitting for productions that span both coasts. Every shoot is covered under a $10M–$25M worldwide aviation liability policy, with COIs issued within hours. IATSE Local 600 union and non-union crews available.
